On January 21, 2015 the WVDEP Division of Air Quality announced a rollout meeting for February 5, 2015 to release the draft new air quality general permit for natural gas activities. The new general permit (G80-A) will cover prevention and control of air pollution in regard to natural gas production, compressor and/or dehydration facilities.
On December 22, 2014 the WV DEP filed the proposed WV Aboveground Storage Tank Act – Emergency Rule with the WV Secretary of State office. WV Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (WV DHSEM) is requiring all Tier II reports be submitted electronically begin with the 2014 reporting year information (due March 1, 2015). Reports must be generated using the Tier2Submit 2014 software available here. Versions of the software are available for both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
